What We Do
The Way of Rockport Indiana, Inc. is a safe alternative for those incarcerated for substance/alcohol abuse. Our home sleeps 15 men, including the Site Director.
Our goal at the transitional/recovery home is to assist those coming to us from jail, drug court or probation officer: to become sober, have a relationship with God and gainfully employed once again.
We offer services to the men such as: obtaining documents needed to go to work (i.e. driver's license, social security card, birth certificate) and help them with available resources such as HIP or HIP Plus; Free telephone, SNAP - if they qualify. Setting up an email account as well. We have someone on staff that can help them get caught up on their Federal Income Tax returns if needed.
