Who We Are

TRI-CAP is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and community action agency serving Dubois, Pike, and Warrick Counties in southern Indiana. Established in 1966, TRI-CAP works to meet the unmet service needs of the region. Funding for TRI-CAP comes from a mix of state, federal, and local resources. The organization is overseen by a 15-member Board of Directors, which includes representation from low-income clients, the private sector, and public officials. Additionally, policy and advisory councils composed of local volunteers help guide TRI-CAP’s programs and services.

What We Do

TRI-CAP nurtures self-sufficiency by providing health, housing, and education services that change lives, empower families, and improve the communities that we serve. We offer multiple programs to assist the communities around us including; Head Start Preschool, Family Planning, Healthy Families, Affordable Senior and Family Housing, Energy Assistance, Individual Development Accounts, Housing Counseling and Weatherization.
