Opportunities From: United Way of Southwestern Indiana Volunteer Opportunities

Help inspire the next generation of runners at the Evansville Half Marathon Kids Dash! Volunteers will assist with this fun, family-friendly event by helping young participants have a safe, exciting, and memorable race experience.

From cheering on children as they cross the finish line to helping with registration and event setup, volunteers play an important role in creating an encouraging environment where every child feels like a champion.

Volunteer Activities:

Assist with participant check-in and race-day registration Help line up runners at the start Cheer on participants along the course and at the finish line Distribute medals and refreshments Assist with event setup, tear-down, and cleanup

Volunteers will receive on-site training and assignments based on the needs of the event.

The Expo is an exciting kickoff to race weekend, and volunteers play a key role in ensuring participants have everything they need before race morning. No prior experience is necessary—just a friendly attitude and a willingness to help.
