Who We Are
Little Lambs was started over 25 years ago with an innovative idea from the Junior League of Evansville to reduce the incidence of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in our area. The Junior League brought together medical professionals to provide education in proper sleep positioning along with cribs and appropriate sleep garments to community families. This education and reward approach was successful in our community. At Little Lambs we encourage healthy parenting acts that will increase the physical and mental development, health, and safety of infants and young children.
What We Do
At Little Lambs we encourage healthy parenting acts that will increase the physical and mental development, health, and safety of infants and young children. The Little Lambs Store is full of baby items from diapers, wipes, to car seats and strollers. The parents that shop our store have Little Lamb vouchers. They have earned these vouchers by participating in programs and services that will benefit their children. We are proud to say that we have teamed up with over 25 organizations in the Evansville area to provide Little Lambs vouchers for the completion of healthy parenting acts, such as: prenatal care, well-baby checkups, immunizations, nutritional education, high school equivalency test preparation, developmental services for children with special needs, homeless prevention programs, and drug rehabilitation programs. Little Lambs also offers parenting classes on site as well as appointments with a certified car seat technician for car seat inspections. All of our programs are open to the public.
