Freedom Reins Therapeutic Riding Center

Who We Are

Freedom Reins Therapeutic Riding Center was established in 2003 and now serves over 40 individuals with special needs! They learn horsemanship skills both on and off the horse which helps to improve self-confidence, social skills, balance and posture, just to name a few of the benefits! It also provides a rewarding and fun opportunity for volunteers to make a real impact in the lives of these individuals and their families! We could not offer this valuable service without the support of the volunteers in our community.

What We Do

We help children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities learn new skills through Adaptive Horseback Riding (Therapeutic Riding) and Equine Assisted Physical Therapy (Hippotherapy).
