Plaza Park International Prep Academy (7301 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN 47715) is teaming up again this year with Girl Scouts of Southwest Indiana to provide their Realityapolis program, a powerful hands-on, interactive game designed to develop financial literacy. Realityapolis is set up like a real town, with stations that represent a bank, auto dealer, grocery, cable company, realtor, and most of the elements that make up everyday life.
As a volunteer you will be representing a “real life” location. You will act as the sales person and/or customer service representative for a “real life” store. It will be your job to sale your product to each student that visits your booth. The students will then record their purchase on their own checking account bank ledger. Once a student has completed the business at your booth, you will then initial their Visiting the Realityapolis paperwork and move on to the next “customer.”
