We are looking for a group of about 4-5 individuals to help us refresh our lobby. It is a high traffic area and needs some extra care. We're looking to have the wall painted, there are three cinder block walls and one with dry wall material. If the crew is willing to donate the paint we would be grateful and will supply the colors chosen.
We'd also be looking to possibly add a chair rail along the dry wall side to help alleviate the wear and tear caused by our chairs during their use. The cinder block walls typically take more paint than the regular wall so it may require multiple coats. We ask you wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on. We can supply basic ladders and possible drop clothes.
There is a television on our wall for announcements so it may need a skilled individual to take it down and put it back up again. It is also older so it is a tad heavy. The space is approx. 13.5 in width, 20.5 in length and 8.5 ft tall.
Items needed:
- 2 gallons of paint (donated if possible with color choice provided)
- paint brushes and trays
- drop cloths
- painters' tape
- material for a chair rail ( about 21 ft)
